What a combination.

Impressions:

I'm totally fine with a show about a multifaceted A-Team, running covert missions with a diverse set of talents and personalities, but these ain't it. They're not at all concerned with accomplishing anything, but are happy to spend entire episodes explaining how serious everybody in the shows are. Revenger has a better claim to seriousness, since it's actually killed a few people and provided something of a backstory. But this week was just a sick prostitute who wanted revenge on some abusive johns. So they killed them. That's the entire A plot. The johns hired a bodyguard that they assassinated from long range, and they just shanked the other one directly in the brothel. The rest of the episode was spent explaining that they were a group who revenges. I'm not kidding when I say that this shot right here? It lasted for over a minute straight, unchanging, unmoving.

Spy Room on the other hand, continued to just be the girls mewling that they are serious. They really really are. They're trying super duper hard to do spy things. Off screen. No, you can't see it. You can only see them comically entangled in their failed attempts. But you know what you can see? Shower scenes. Multiple. Of the dude. I don't even think they know who they're making this for or what the point is, but they sure ain't stressing any animators out over hard work here.
