I guess we're all just choosing to ignore some teenagers openly murdering a girl in public.

Impressions:

This is going for a more 'realistic' approach, by which I mean that she freaks out about outhouses and them not having toilet paper. Also, she can't speak the Narnia language. Until she has her cheat powers explained to her and suddenly she can. But it was a nice 10 minutes or so where we could pretend like this was subdued or an actual fish out of water story in any way whatsoever. I also don't know what it is about this season, but all of these godawful cheat power/reincarnation things are horrendously poorly animated, and this is no exception. The only one with at the obligatory 15 second decent fight was that Magical Revolution one, and I watched that nearly a month ago.

Probably the weirdest part to me is that most of the internal narration comes in the form of her dead weird prepper brother and all the crazy-ass nonsense he would rant about that is now relevant. Well, that and how this is another show clearly not edited for the web. It's not something I ever really thought about before today, but even one show screwing the pooch this hard on these cuts is weird. Two feels unprecedented. Well, there's also the scene where she shanks a wolf while the rest of the pack patiently watches. We know they're patiently watching because looking at them staring blankly is way easier to animate than the shanking. I guess also that a bunch of random dudes would kick her off a cliff. But I guess we're just ignoring the attempted murder. In a crowded public place. Seems like that should be the start of a revenge story or at least a police report, but okay. You do you, terrible show.
