Really going out with a bang here.

I've finally transitioned to a new computer, and of course, did so while out of town without actually checking to make sure all my image processing stuff was totally set up, so if there's anything weird, just say. Season preview will be up tomorrow or Monday, depending on how efficiently I churn through silly pixel art. Spoiler, somehow, I'm mainly looking forward to Jump adaptations. It's… gonna be that kind of season.

Impressions:

At this point, it's less about parodying a sentai show and/or evil organization and more about them constantly going on vacations. I think probably close to half of the episodes have been about them going on trips, or the beach, or to amusement parks, so on and so forth. Practically running away from the supposed premise to indulge in fanservice. One would've thought the main sentai guy would have been a part of the show at any point, but even those random Pretty Cure characters have gotten more play than him.

Which also makes the episode a bit confusing because most of it was spent listening to dudes scream. Sure, they had the obligatory groping of the dog, moans and all, but that was off-screen, set to a thrilling shot of the floor. Further adding to the confusion that it wasn't the usual array of chicken, hydra, whoever. It's a different crowd of screaming furry dudes here for some reason. Does it count as a different gag if they're new(ish) characters? Probably not.
