What about your dream of having a dream!?

Tokyo 24's first episode is an hour long. Not two episodes with a helpful split, but legitimately a single one hour affair. Give me a bit.

Impressions:

This was in a lot of ways, much more of a comedy than Leadale, despite clearly not in any way beind intended as one. I don't know how anybody is supposed to take medieval crowds standing around mocking somebody for having a sword seriously. Look at that samurai. LOL, samurais. What losers samurais are! Oh wait, samurais fight against the slaver demons who slaughter us. They're actually super cool! They ride motorbikes! Two teenager samurai can easily slaughter all the monsters and deliver us to freedom! But you're going to brainwashing school! You don't believe in dreams! Samurai believe in their dreams! How can you be a samurai if you don't believe in your dreams! Your dreams, Musashi! What about your dreams!? Your dreeeeaaaaammmmmmmsssss!!!!

But I'm also 98% certain this is mostly a response from the last two shows being boring as absolute sin. This episode wasn't much better, though admittedly didn't have very much screaming at me either, a rarity for these Jump-likes. The action was terribly animated and more a dude narrating a paragraph of exposition about how this was actually a magical samurai move from the book that had been conveniently dropped nearby. It certainly didn't rise to the level of, say, Back Arrow's crazy nonsense in the first episode, nor even its middling production. It was just a generic poorly produced shounen action thing where the gimmick is yelling about samurai.
