Boy, this show is hitting all my nerves lately.

Impressions:

And now, for no reason whatsoever, a goddamned idol episode. Because of goddamned course, there would be an idol episode. It's not like this was taking place in a dystopic cave filled with giant monsters squashing your best friends. It's not like we spent multiple episodes having a panic attack over not dropping everything and rushing straight to some random place seen in hallucinations of your father-but-is-probably-not-actually-your-father die. Why not take out a whole episode to babysit some idiot who is the world's most perfect idol but just wants a day to play around. What a perfect excuse for yet another montage, insert song, and other tomfoolery. We've got CDs to sell after all.

The episode was utter and absolute padding. The only content comes after the goddamned ED plays, when the super terrorists finally show up and literally start screaming out plot twists. YOU ARE THE CHOSEN ONE. HE'S NOT YOUR REAL DAD! KEVIN SPACEY IS KAISER SEX PREDATOR! So I guess you can skip to those last 15 seconds of the episode, or just not even care at all because they'll be repeated at the start of next week's episode too. But god, it was sure great to tongue bathe the concept of idols once again. Anime doesn't goddamned do enough of that.
