Hitori Bocchi #02 — Extended Flashback
April 12th, 2019
I wonder if I would sleep through Azumanga if I tried to watch it today.
Then I remember how much of it was basically an LSD trip and feel like that's an important thing that sets it apart.
Quasi-Impressions:
Technically, I turned this on, pulled out the screen caps, and let it play to conclusion, but I spent most of it low-key napping. I'm not fully convinced that's not the optimal way to watch it anyway. She meets another girl with a pun for a name, and about five minutes on that singular pun. Some yelling occurs. Faces are made. There's lots of whimpering. It's a four-panel thing about girls making silly faces. That's… probably the last word I will have to say about this show.

I remember yelling at azumanga that “all your references are already dated” back when I thought they could hear me
chiyo’s dad did in fact hear me
Bocchi is probably the closest any series has come to “sending your kid off to the first day at school and praying to god nothing goes wrong”, i’m honestly shocked you graced us with a second episode of screencaps
