What a pointless episode.

Impressions:

These two Monday shows are putting up a spirited race to the bottom. I thought that we had gotten pretty much all the backstory that we needed, but apparently the writers here disagreed, so here's an entire further episode fleshing out the past between the main three, clarifying that the village burning we saw in the first episode was a different one from the one where she lost her arms and the boy got taken as a slave. Also, the arm loss wasn't due to random war tops, but from a sadistic soldier. That's it. That's pretty much the only time any of the 'main' characters appeared in the episode. For that all important pointless rewriting of the past. That and poking around with the grabby thingers. It's not foreshadowing if you've already revealed where that's going, guys.
