Awesome, review and recap already.

Impressions:

So much for jumping right into things as we immediately rewind and spend most of the episode in a particularly token flashback origin story that does nothing but review all the things we already knew. But yeah, sure, let's dedicate two thirds of an episode into having characters explain that Honey's a cyborg, goes to school, can transform, has the gizmo inside her, and is fighting Panther Claw. Time truly well spent. The fight scenes have unfortunately not gotten any better. I guess they haven't gotten any worse either, but that's the price you pay when you're dedicated to trips to the flashback dimension for no earthly reason.

Although perhaps the more mystifying part was the sort of abortive introduction to two especially goofy comic relief midgets. I can only imagine they exist as an attempt to plump up some kind of nostalgia for people who recognize them. I don't, so they're just two horny weirdos who get about four lines each, none of which fits in with the tone of the rest of the show, and especially not the mopey flashback stuff. Honey and not-Jill disguising themselves for no reason whatsoever would come in a close second though.
