Impressions:

There are girls. They try hard. They are socially awkward. They make faces. They take baths. They stand in cherry petals. Friendship! They take more baths. The end.

This one's contribution to the formula is that they all have fox ears. Stunning. Or maybe it's that two of them share the same hair color. Talk about reinventing the whole genre. I think this is probably classified as a comedy, but the jokes are things like "The animal person looks different when wet because it's all fur," and "–makes a stupid face–" So yeah, the laughs come a mile a minute. As do the baths. I try to think back to the time when I could stomach Hidamari Sketch and wonder what the difference was. Perhaps a touch of surreality and minor effort in the direction, or perhaps none at all and the sheer press of completely identical things saturating every single season with minimal or even no distinguishing features between them eventually turned my stomach against them en mass.

Either way, this is Another Goddamned One Of Those that attempts to substitute the same cherry blossoms, blushing, and stupid faces for having to come up with a story, characters, drama, or humor. The real struggle is coming up with anything new to say about any of them. I'm pretty sure that I failed on that front. The main character is especially breathy and cloyingingly irritating to listen to? There's about as much dead space of them staring in wide eyed stupidity as usual? Work with me, here.
