Welcome to the Classroom of Elites #01 — Empty Space
July 1st, 2017
Most of it is between the characters' ears.
Early pre-air broadcast that caught me by surprise, but Fate/Apoc's not up yet, so let's get this out of the way. Actual broadcast doesn't begin until the 12th. Also, apparently Hina Logi's going to just be ahead a week over the terrestrial broadcasts on the Bandai Channel netcast. The second episode had a mountain more exposition, a couple transformation sequences for no reason but to have transformation sequences, and then they went on a picnic. So it's of no concern to me. Go with whatever dark god gave you life, you lifeless abomination.
Impressions:
Shockingly, I think this was even worse than the last show with the exact same premise. This one trades the bad art/sadistic grins for boredom. A protagonist who goes repeatedly out of his way to explain how boring and terrible he is, while also staring blankly at everything. And yet, despite this, all the known females in the universe are irresistibly drawn to his orbit. Also, I lied. He doesn't stare blankly at everything. If there's a female nearby, he stares at their chest, with plenty of cleavage from the teacher as she fluffs up and frames her tits for the camera. Good thing the protagonist is there to constantly dryly remark on the mundanity of it all or I might've been bored.
It definitely put me in the mind of the protagonist. I'm bored, I hate him, I hate everything about this setting, the characters, and the story that didn't even pretend to go anywhere. Production is barely existent; animation, music, direction, etc. Only the boobs get any focus, both the D cups and the twatcakes and airheaded imbeciles it's trying to pass off as characters. The whole thing is a twenty minute exercise in boredom that tries to go WHAT A TWIST at the end when it's revealed that their sweet deal comes with some catches. That's right, twenty minutes just to reveal the premise. Christ, guys. All that exposition, and you didn't even get that far… until you had a time out for yet MORE exposition.

Yea it also reminded of oregairu, is a shameless copy with different art and some silly school setting, at least in oregairu male lead was really snarky and made fun of everybody, here is a empty soulless imbecile, they can replace him with a sack of nothing and it would not affect the show in any way.
