Life in a Supernatural Apartment #01 — Title Drop

July 3rd, 2017

What a shocking twist that is the title 22 minutes in.

Impressions:

Today is just going to be the day of dreadfully boring undramatic dramas, isn't it? Good god, this kid's dream in life is to work in a cubicle as a salary drone. How is one even supposed to get behind that? It's possible that would even be the high point of the episode as it's the most proximal to an off-screen fight that (doesn't) exists for no reason, as the rest is a plodding affair where he meets each character, announces either his or their salient traits, and slowly, VEEEEEEEEEERY slowly, the title of the episode dawns upon him. He's thicker than a goddamned brick with a personality to match.

At least the previous show had some sloppy making out between doe-eyed stalkers. I couldn't even begin to guess at what the creators think is going to draw people in here. Sure as hell isn't the visuals or lack of story. I assume this just spawned from the primordial light novel ooze like so many high school fantasy battle harems.

  • The Phantom says:

Did not we have a show around these lines a few years ago?, the other one was far more eventful than this. Male lead is atrocious he spent the fucking episode making his trademark I-am-stupid face, so yea not looking forward to this BS, one of those youkai should eat him next episode then this will start to improve.
