Compulsive Gamblers #01 — Rock Paper Boredom

Believe in the heart of bad art!
I have some brief errands to run. Other shows start airing now (and air for the next 90 minutes straight), but I might have to run out for 30-60 minutes in the middle of things. Or not. Who knows.
Impressions:
As is frequently the case, and why I don't like doing it, I get to enjoy the manga chapter(s) that I spent maybe three minutes quickly flipping through while looking this up for the preview stretched out to 22 full minutes as they linger on dumb overreactions, and revel in the cacophony that they're calling a jazzy soundtrack. And like I mentioned in the preview, all this boils down to a bunch of exposition and then "I believed in the heart of the cards." I'm sure they mean it to show how she's a daring rebel who don't play by nobody's rules, but it really just comes off as they got tired of writing and just said screw it.
It's typical over-dramatized sports/game schlock. It leans on the bad music and ugly faces somewhat more than usual (or less if you're coming from the Akagi/Kaiji angle), but is simplistic with the production to match. I guess its addition to the formula is high school girls. Be still my beating heart.
