Impressions:

Retconning the end of the previous episode and then making most of the episode be about how it got to the punchline it already used is certainly an interesting move. Not a wise one though. I expected them to kind of meander through the rest of the cast, but that was apparently expecting too much. The whole first half could've pretty much been skipped with no loss but Whitey's inadequacy issues (and what a horrible loss that would be), and the second half would've been fine as a pre-OP montage going off of the end of the previous episode. As it stands, it took over half the episode just to return to where the previous episode left off.

Getting back to the actual 'sport' is certainly in this show's best interests, so maybe next week will be better, but this episode was a fat load of rehash, nothing, and a half-assed promise that next week will be different. At least assuming they don't retcon it again.
