Mostly, I'm tired of reading Japanese subtitles.

Impressions:

I pulled out the caps, so I guess I might as well post something. Merry band saves village from marauder. Seems like it should be a slam dunk, right? Somewhere around the twenty second run-up where everyone was staring in shock, followed by more shock as he spent 30 seconds cutting random soldiers down, before about the seventeenth declaration of X would be killing Y, and shocked surprise that Z was a drifter to eat up some more time, I fear it completely lost me. It was already on extremely thin ice after that opening segment based on characters shouting at each other at excessive length. The killing blow though was that the actual fight consisted of X throwing his sword as a distraction… and that was the end of everything. That was the culmination of a quarter episode of shouting and gore porn, followed by an uplifting moral lesson about the greatness of mob justice. If the lesson was supposed to be about standing up to genocidal racists, you missed the mark by a country mile, guys.
