What, already?

Impressions:

On the upside, focus moved off of the obnoxious, angsty, wet towel that was the sole protagonist of the first episode. On the other hand, the episode was pure banality with a side of fanservice towards the end when everyone stripped down to their swimsuits to… not really even do much of anything then either. They just kind of swam around while continuing to blather before one-shotting some underwater thingy in a flagrant disregard for physics. There was this whole bit about them splitting up into two groups to go do their own things, and the groups just happened to split every team up, so something's going to come of that, right? Lessons learned? Teamwork reinforced? No. Nothing at all. Just a short montage and then it's off to Titsville. Oh, and I guess the flat one groped the large breasted ones and made noises are the athletic one, in case anybody feared for a moment that it might let some cliche go uncliched.

Has the budget and the action really run out already? It wasn't great in the first episode, but it's only the second goddamned episode. Have we really already run out of ideas for characters and plot on top of the budget running dry?
