How can we explain everything while not actually saying anything?

Impressions:

Despite not-quidditch being the whole gimmick of this setting, I can't help but feel like they're playing to the weakest part by focusing on it. It'd probably have come off a lot better if they focused on the characters and the game itself rather than stopping to explain every single goddamned tiny thing… without actually explaining anything. It's so much noise, yammering, and lines being drawn all over; so many jangling keys and excitement, like the audience is a dog that responds only to the superficialities of tone, yelling, and loud music." She did an inverse double low yo yo spinning rainbow kick turn!" "What does that mean?" "It accelerates the dynamic speed coefficient by using the gravity of the boost on inclines to make her faster!" Uh, if you say so. It got even worse when they paused in the middle of a supposed match to have a chatsies and explain how they were going to play to wave the dicks around. The only thing keeping it from being Dragonball or Bleach was someone grunting for five straight minutes and some extra hair gel.

That's all the second half though. The first half was pretty much just bathing, fanservice and filler. It did reduce the amount of Lobotomy Pink's imbecility and screaming. But at least nobody walked in on anybody standing naked in front of an open window this week. There was just Blondie flashing her vag to everyone else and aggressively rubbing them down. It's… an improvement, I guess, but there's still far to go. Also, nobody turned into a horse this week, so great work, artists.

Next Episode:

Christ, what's that orange creature?

  • The Phantom says:

The fuck is this?, who the fuck are these people?, was not cant-fly-idiot being humiliated by second-love-interest-who-is-going-to-lose-anyway last episode?, where did this bunch of people came from?

Nevermind I probably was fast forwarding last episode, not gonna bother rewatching that much less this.

  • Longing says:

I’m actually much more impressed that you stuck with this show-desu.

You typically drop shows that have annoying voices and characters-desu

And my ears were bleeding after the first 5 minutes of the first episode-desu.
