Impressions:

So, Utawarerumono, are we going to be doing something at any point in the future, or is the rest of your run just going to be taking baths while an ever-growing harem of supermodels and princesses throw themselves at Haku for his astonishing abilities to begrudgingly barely competently do minor chores while complaining about it? Because from Karulau showing up this episode for no reason other than to flash her tits and I Can't Think Of A Funny Euphemism For Her Vagina Here at Haku, and Touka joining just to drink and make stupid faces, ending with more baths, the answer seems to be "Baths ahoy!"

This episode was transparently fanservice for fans of the first series and just as stomach turning as if it had been 20 straight minutes of the existing cast comparing nipple sizes and vagina width. I think that's what Japanese girls do in the bath, right? Here's these old characters. You were fans of them, right? Well, here they are doing the same things as they did before. No, not the cool things. The things where they make funny faces, sit around drinking and reminiscing, and compare vagina width. Why? We already told you. You recognize them. Moo for us, cattle. Moo.

    its clear the show just wants to be fluffy fun but I have this irrational desire to see hakuo show that he is the second coming and start blasting something.Im waiting for action when this show is clearly made of post show ovas. things are happening but they are so irrelevant that I feel like we had 4 episodes in the bathhouse(since every ep starts or ends in one)and while there have been few good shots in the bathhouse, it mostly feels like “talking heads” with the bathhouse as a slide of hand promising fanservice which has yet to get beyond mediocrity(by todays standards)
