Remember that one show that didn't have awkwardly jammed in flashbacks? No? Huh.

Impressions:

Same as the last two episodes, only with even more flashbacks, and you know how much I adore those. Perhaps even samier since aside from the flashbacks, this had just one monster of the week instead of two or three, especially towards the end when they went through the whole monstrous power up thing and anticlimax for about the fifth time. The budget continues to dip, although not as severely as the chunk last week where they stopped animating everything altogether. This was more spread out across the entire episode. Still nowhere even close to cheap, mind you, but like Symphogear's recent Noise parades, it's a lot of flash and bang signifying nothing. Same formula, same 'jokes', same non-parody 'parody' via self-announcement.

I don't particularly want to keep covering any of the Sunday shows at the moment. I feel like Concrete Revolutio is the only one I'll have much of anything to talk about, and that's mostly just recapping how nonsensical it is. Maybe I'll just use the day as buffer/setup for the porn stuff in a Sun-Tues wandering thing since that takes about 6 times as long to write one post for as any given episode.
