Venus Project Climax #01 — What Don’t Shoulder Pads Go With?

What’s an incaration?
Semi-Impressions:
Reminder. This is that show that’s trading off weeks with a generic idol variety show. I guess I should note this even though I stopped paying attention at about four minutes, got bored, skipped through the rest, saw that it was literally nothing but the adventures of a girl who can’t find clothing that zips up over her chest wandering around and being talked at, and didn’t want to deal with any of it. Basically, it’s just your standard idol show where they play Pokemon with robots by dancing. Except that they ran out of the budget in the first 90 seconds and had to cut the Pokemon, robots, and dancing. And no, the idol stuff during the action is not just a thing it does like Symphogear with its singing. The two overdressed casting couch rejects dressed like refugees from Priscilla Queen of the Desert perform the exact same routine, and then one robot runs out of plot energy first. Exciting.
But I do appreciate that the Miss America idol is a cheerleader wearing the Statue of Liberty’s crown and football shoulder pads. Â
