These angels are pretty lazy.

I will get Yozakura’s last OVA done tonight. It’s already capped and sorted and whatnot, I just got tired/lazy last night.

Impressions:

I question the wisdom of Zombie Girl’s role this week of saying “So, uh… Why don’t you get on with it?” every few minutes. And then when it looks like they might be working things out in unsurprising corny fashion, interrupt it? Does this really need to go on until the very end of the season? I’m also having trouble buying the whole “We need to not upset her,” schtick. Is the other key needed or not? If no, then why are we making such a big deal about her instead of the hundreds of angels apparently dying every minute. If it is, then why aren’t we like, sticking her somewhere actually secure instead of telling some random humans to babysit her. Did they even manage to keep tabs on her for 8 hours? Get her high off some heaven-ether or something.

A pretty dull episode overall really. They get captured, have a bunch of unconvincing nonsense spat at them from heaven… quite literally, and then go traipsing off again at the end with not really much of anything accomplished or anything in their goalset/character whatnots changed for various cliffhangers. My question from last week about why exactly he was going so far and what was so bad about the tail was asked finally, although not answered at all, but otherwise, they’re still harping on the same tunes; the secret mastermind, fathers, how Elvis doesn’t get Afro, etc etc with the only particularly new tune thanks to Jeanne is destiny. The only real action this week was some silverware jousting, and even that was kind of token.
