Rage of Bahamut #03 — Silent Hill

The town of wasted potential.

Impressions:

Is a creepy little undead goth pseudo-child sidekick really what Elvis needed? His tragic backstory about losing everything also seems a bit lacking in Favarro considering the mad-on he has for him. I’m not a great fan of how they did the reveal about the ghost town either, particularly the trolls thing. They could have/should have milked that out a lot more instead of making it painfully obvious from the moment the cavalry arrived.

It’s probably because they ended up blowing half the episode on Amari’s flashback and the gods/demons doing their usual sitting around going “Should we do something? Nah.” I appreciate the effort they put into showing it to at least make it not the worst flashback of the episode, but it wasn’t exactly well-woven into the story. They’re going to have to actually do something with Jeanne at some point as well. It’s starting to wear thin. At least, I hope so. Maybe she’ll just be bumming around the battlefield in her own little world for the entire show.

You know, the end with Rita, dont made any sense to me.. How did she end in this State?

If an undead goth-loli voiced by Sawashiro doesn’t make you happy, nothing will.
