Tokyo ESP #10 — Now Approaching Critical Flashback Mass
September 12th, 2014

Good god, show. Can we please move forward?
Impressions:
What a fantastic episode! And no flashbacks at all! Jesus was powered by fish. Christianity is actually a fish religion. It’s all perfectly clear. Magic fish were inside the Ark of the Covenant. Boy, I bet Indy feels silly now. As for what happened, after escaping police custody, Rinka moped around in the rain before… being captured by the police. Oh, and Azuma tried to leave the island but was immediately dragged back. So if you’re keeping score, they went backward this week. Maybe if they had actually developed the relationship between the two in the slightest, they might be able to sell this whole PILLAR OF MY LIFE IS GONE schtick, but if wishes were fishes, we’d all be bible-powered metahumans, is I think how the saying goes.
But we’re not just going to go backward, we’re going way backward. We’re really here for is all the flashbacks about how… some evil guys killed some people, and therefore the antagonist killed them back. Dum dum duuuuuuuum! That’s right up there with yesterday’s shocking reveal about evil academy experimenting on children. What does this add? Hell if I know. Why should I care? Same. How does this advance anything? Double same. Why was any of this needed to further evilify the guy parking ships downtown and his band of merry sadists just out to be evil cause evil? Triple same with a hot dollop of same on top. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve apparently got badly drawn uncensored genitalia to touch up. Because apparently, this is my life now.

Perhaps he was inspired of Indiana Jones and the Holy Ark, movie. And dont know the background of this Ark
In the movie, it killed the Bad guys. well anyone how saw this “miracle”, both survived because they shut their eyes…
