Apartment Invaders! #02 — Old Maid

You’ve got to be kidding me.

Impressions:

This could have recovered if now after having established its clusterblintz of characters and whatnot, it took that and ran with it, reveling in the madness and/or stupidity. Instead, they… went to school? Played a game of Old Maid that started a couple minutes in and still hadn’t wrapped up by the end? Not even like hardcore wacky Old Maid with all of them cheating in their own ways or anything. Just regular Old Maid. Oh, and I guess the ghost stated getting strange feelings in her nonexistent netherparts. So basically the opposite of doing what they should have, although “doing” is the key word here that they did not even come close to accomplishing. And of course, because that’s the theme of this season, it also stopped being animated. Not the tit bounces though. Because that’s what’s most important.

You got your second chance, based mostly on me having Fridays off for a couple weeks. You squandered it. Unless Tokyo ESP totally fumbles its second episode, this is where I get off with no regrets.

    I like the MC and think some of the girls are cute but I don’t see the point of the Old Maid aspect. That scene break with the results is pointless and just makes the episode feel 4 times longer.
    I do think it’s alright though.

    This adaptation sux too much, they rush though the LN, and leave out 60% of the necessary story elements / change things to worse.

        Too much things were skipped and changed already.

        For example in the original material days pass when the girls arrive, and there’s time for character development and other fun stuff, while in the anime only some minutes pass between them… thanks to this they also altered things in the second episode, and it didn’t work that well, as it could have been.

          what about the card games did they show all the games in the original material or skipped it like the second episode?
