Impressions:
I had to go back and make sure that my memory was right before I began insulting whoever is in charge of this mess, but no, it is indeed JC Staff and ACGT with JC Staff’s action director heading them up. How far they have fallen. Do not let the animation in the OP fool you. It almost looks like a regular poorly animated show. That is a filthy, filthy lie. You know all those Flash-animated two minute ‘comedy’ things Japan spits out constantly? This looks like they tarted the hell out of one of those, made it 20 minutes long, and then the boss came in and said “Market research says tits, mecha, and ninjas are in! Make something with those! And make it a comedy! But also an epic adventure about the triumph of Japanese spirit! And make sure you don’t use the same crappy animation for the tits, because when they’re masturbating, that matters.“
I don’t know what the hell this is supposed to be. All the shouting and weird sound effects would seem to indicate mostly comedy, but there are parts of it, long parts, where there is not a single trace of irony. Even if it was supposed to be comedy, it wasn’t funny. It’s like one of those awful barely-animated Sengoku period shows, only with more tits, robots, and females masturbating. The characters? Shouty guy who can’t touch women, shouty guy’s shoutier friend, and a bunch of meat balloons to be groped or just masturbate. And if I hadn’t made it clear already, the whole thing is the worst animated professional anything I’ve seen in years. I won’t say it rivals Musashi Gun-Doh, but they both probably had the same paste-based diet as children.
I’d recommend giving it a look just because I’m sure I haven’t done justice to what a trainwreck it is, but the only merit I can possibly see in this is if you take it as a complete parody of practically everything, including perhaps animation itself, but that’s just a liiiiiittle more leeway than this monstrosity deserves.

Teekyuu season 4 when. That thing easily has enough energy to compensate for the lack of animation.
But now that you’ve made it past this, you might as well give Sidonia a try. You could even do the Internet a favor and make comparisons to both Arpeggio and Aku no Hana. Now that would get the kids riled up.
