Ugh. Now Poindexter’s a plot device for the first time ever.

Impressions:

I had to actually think to remember what ‘killed’ her last week. It took me a good while too. You’d think if they were going to spend half the episode pissing on about how dead she is, they would have done a better job of that, even if it took rewriting history a bit to make it more jarring. I don’t even know whether to be annoyed that besides one little tantrum, nobody seems to really be that affected by it, annoyed that they’d then waste most of the episode trying to talk up how dead she is. 

And of course, we all know that this case of ‘death’ is going to last about as long as a sprained ankle. If that wasn’t obvious enough, Mr. Monocle pops up up immediately to tell them all about how she can be brought right back. Because apparently he’s dead. And Mouthy’s dad, which is important because… because… like all the family stuff, they just kind of tossed that out and then brained themselves on their brilliance or something. All that basically means that the episode was “She’s dead, but we’ll save her.” “When?” “I dunno. Next week? I mean, it’s urgent, but no need to hurry. Burgers?”
