Was installing an AC really a two week ordeal?
Impressions:
Well at least it made me laugh for the first time in a long while. Not because of any attempt at comedy. Ye gods, no. Because at the big moment when the family decided to go with the protagonists who spent half the episode putting themselves out for the moron family, Raul’s just standing there in the background, inches away from the guy who’s talking, where you’re supposed to be focused. I’m almost disappointed that there wasn’t any Walmart funny business going on there. If anything, I think there’s a good argument to be made that the old lady was senile and by extension, Doofus and Gang were talking advantage of an invalid. I don’t even remember how they got her to buy from them anyway though. I’m happy not to commit this show to my memory each week.
But back to Walmart, the AC installation guy was even accomodating. Moreso than any installer I’ve ever dealt with at least. One might almost forget that this is the same company that only last week they showed were slave-murderers. Make up your damn minds. Well, actually it seems like they have and we’re just not going to care about the slave-murder-promotion-of-prostituting-female-employees at all. Otherwise, the only thing of even vague note was them trying to traumatize Koreans with putting a rotary fan front and center after they *gasp* slept in the room with it turned on!
