It looks kind of like a bra.

I’ll get to at least the Yozakura OVA once I’m across the country in 12ish or so hours. I may or may not do Walkure too after that. Don’t hold your breath.

Impressions:

Big step down from week one, although at least they sort of moved away from glasses a little bit. Yeah, I get that he’s mistakenly reminiscing, monologuing, and spazzing out by himself in a desolate room, but that doesn’t make it funny. The punchline at the end took a long time to get there and really wasn’t worth it, not to mention that the director barely bothered to show up through a lot of it. Maybe I’m just not Japanese enough to quite understand the hilarity of a monologue… with subtitles… among other jokes that mostly consisted of making noise. The second half wasn’t much better either. 

The first episode was at its best when the director was just running wild, making quick and snappy jokes. This episode was anything but snappy. Too much of this episode was far too quiet, unenergetic, and had the characters all by themselves. "He slipped and fell into a stream… and then fell again trying to get out… and then stepped on a rake and a crow chased him!" isn’t exactly the kind of joke you should be juxtaposing in the same episode as flying around on exploding mechanized glasses flyers, if you can even call it a joke.
