Impressions:

Another Kanetsugu episode, although it got a little more eventful toward the end. Well, pseudo-Kanetsugu. Aaand only eventful by Japanese standards. Super Jubei came back because it was the designated time to at least pretend like we were getting things moving again and now can’t leave, which I’m not sure why that’s a problem, and the episode was bookended with the introduction of Keiji, a lesbian biker who likes to grope girls and freaks out when men touch her, a weakness that doesn’t really matter since there’s only two men in this entire setting. I already feel like she’d have been a far better protagonist, but the bar there isn’t particularly high.

Otherwise though, pretty dull episode for the most part. The fight at the start was mediocre at best and I swear that we’ve already seen most of the rest in various montages before. ‘Kanetsugu’ harasses them/sets traps. Jubei miraculously comes through it all unharmed based on her spider sense, which is something pseudo-serious this time instead of just comic relief like it is the other 80% of the time. Turns out it was Keiji all along, but for some inexplicable reason, has stopped groping people and just expositions at them instead.
