Impressions:

They really need to not be playing the fantasy world stuff so deadly seriously for these jokes to actually work well. Or at least gloss over it instead of going whole hog on the making sure it’s front and center. "She’s obsessed with killing him because he tried to destroy her world. *ba-dum tss*" Less is more and all. Which doesn’t go for the budget, guys. Not to mention that theyre continuing to do a pretty poor job mixing the serious and comedic and instead of having the two chunks clearly delineated into separate parts, this unfortunately started blurring things. I had been hoping it’d focus a little more on the comedy, but no, apparently we’re going to be having a serious plotline in the real world too as someone’s taking potshots at one or both of them. His interactions with his bubbly idiot of a fast food buddy were more amusing, not to mention more consistent, than the entirety of the affair with Amy that ate up the entire rest of the episode.
