Thanks for all the closeups. I’m sure nobody noticed before.

Impressions:

I’m really just not feeling this show. I kind of can’t stand Amy or anything they do with her. Part of it continues to be the poor mixing of serious and comedic elements, of which bubbly brainless coworker turning out to be super special widget did not help in the slightest, but the music was trying pretty hard this week to be annoying too. Especially in the middle at the start of the date when it was drowing out people shouting. Here’s a clue, directors. Decide ahead of time what’s more important for the audience to be listening to, the characters or the lute. If the answer is the latter, then you’re doing something horribly wrong. Here’s a second clue. It’s never the goddamned lute. I don’t even know why we were suddenly Arabian-themed either. I’d say that I also expected better from the OP after skipping it for two episodes than just a bunch of recycled clips, but aside from that opening few minutes, this show’s been the epitome of cheap.
