Nyarlko #14 — Silence in the Library

I miss RTD. A lot.

Impressions:

Boy, this is sure something we’ve never seen before. Faff around for a third of an episode, ‘evil’ villains have secret designs over some super crazy space thing, faff around for another third of the episode, cliffhanger pretending that this time it’s serious. Gee. I wonder what’s going to be revealed 15 minutes into next week’s episode. Maybe if they moved things along quickly enough to not give me the time to ponder these imponderables instead of pissing about 14 minutes away on hairbrushing and eating snacks.

I need to find something better to do with my Sunday/Mondays.

    RTD? The guy who gave us the Adipose? Silence in the Library wasn’t RTD good sir or madam.

      RTD was an awesome head writer/producer and a mediocre episode writer. Moffat is a good episode writer and an awful head writer/producer. I have spoken!

      RTD did give us Midnight, which is on par with the best Moffat episodes and is also the nuWho episode I’ve liked the most.
