Impressions:

Well, since the only thing that this was missing to complete the Lupin parallels last week was a gunman, I guess I shouldn’t be too terribly surprised that this decided to spawn Magoichi. More surprising is that it took the entire episode before he pulled out a gun. That’s literally the only thing he’s famous for… using guns. Also, it’s a little confusing how they spent most of the episode building him up as generally a good/noble guy, just to have him then shoot someone in the face followed up by a no-quarter killing. That’s a bit grim and totally out of touch with pretty much everything else in the episode, not to mention the entire show to date. 

It was still a pretty boring episode though. Very little happened, slowly, I don’t particularly like any of the characters, and it’s not very well made. This may be the last week I cover it depending on how next week’s starts.
