Impressions:

Of course, it’s a little hard to be impressed when she only beat up two blind secretaries. I can only assume that they’re blind because they mistook a G cup teenage girl with gigantic blonde hair and braids all over the place for a brown haired flatchested middle aged woman. And I can only assume that he was a woman because his gun of choice is the most darling little purse popper. My god, I’m not sure that gun would’ve even stopped an apple thrown his way. It’s the kind of thing you’d expect to see Tess Trueheart unconvincingly waving around. Speaking of unconvincing, "thrown out a window"? Seriously? That’s what makes Kenichi get serious? And then he’s moved to tears by Sakaki coming back? Come on, show. You can at least try. Especially if you’re going to be waving around that little girly gun like it’s menacing moments before.

But I guess same as most of the rest of this OVA set. The series has seen better days, namely when it was in a completely different studio’s hands. Inconsistent as hell days, but certainly frequently better during the fights instead of the speedline/stills barrage. Not as much ridiculous CG either. That pan over the buildings was so very, very bad. Well, at least it was something. If not for Muv Luv’s CG mecha pose-a-thon, I think it’d have been the closest thing to an action sequence that I’ve seen animated in the last month. Good lord, is that depressing.

And no, I have no idea what’s with the super extra long ED/post ED montage. Maybe this is the last OVA episode. I thought the second one was. What the hell do I know?
