Wow. This was a new level of generic.

Impressions:

Generic as hell school festival episode, complete with the obligatory cafe and haunted house that sends the most imbecilic of characters into paroxysms. I don’t even know how that cliche still survives. The ‘highlight’ was probably the all-male Romeo and Juliet bovine review, just for the sheer weirdness of it. Everything else was just by the numbers school festival generic blech supposedly headlined by the damn haunted house. And then since there were still five minutes to go, they started popping up the most random and boring of the tertiary characters to chew up the rest with the obligatory time-intensive greetings and goodbyes, not even always animating it when text messages sufficed. At least spend that time on Yoshinoya’s festive dancing. She wasn’t squeaking here either.
