Impressions:

That’s a little more like it. At least it’s giving probably the flashiest action this season’s going to have if K continues to focus wholeheartedly on dynamic skateboarding. There was a few laughably horribly animated shots right around the halfway point though. I’m really not sure what happened there. Someone probably went "Animate a balcony? Or a stairway? Screw that! We have CG!" The middle in general was kind of awkward and not so good all around. I think they just didn’t know what to do with the show when Rikka was temporarily out of it. 

At least the actual fight, or whatever you want to call it was cool though. I wouldn’t mind seeing more of that from the show at all. All the "check out how totally chuu2 she is!" jokes are still falling pretty flat for me, as is the dynamic between the characters. It’d be nice if he did lose control a little more and play around like he did when he entered her lair. Nobody ever complained about there being too much Taishi and not enough Kazuki. Or we can say Isaac/Miria for those of you not quite as old as me.
