That was not how I expected… or hoped… that fight would end.

Impressions:

Oh hey. He does remember about Honnouji after all. The hurricane of imagined screens must have been confusing his small mind. The pacing in this later going continues to be wonky as ever, especially in the second half. The entire showdown between Hisahide and… well… everybody from Bontenmaru to the pair of wildly flopping Portuguese breasts seems like it should have been a whole lot more than just kind of… "Uh, hi! We’re all here to conveniently save you!" Also happily (for the budget) skipping any actual battle or showdown with Hisahide after about a month of futzing around with her. Meh.

Anywho, the damsel in distress is captured by the world’s chattiest kidnapper as part of a plot to assassinate Nobuna (with a suspiciously high tech scope, might I add) while Hisahide worked on Mitsuhide. I was going to compliment Mitsuhide’s little sparring against her, but one of them had to begin masturbating in the middle of it and then pull out the magical butterflies. It also feels a bit weird to apparently be finished with Honnouji/Mitsuhide at this point unless they’re going to revive and rehash all her stuff later. Not entirely sure where this leaves us for the last few episodes though. Maybe Azai will finally do something. …After everybody goes to the obligatory bathhouse.
