Impressions:

"Oh hey, the animation for this fight doesn’t seem too… wait, they just looped it… and looped it again. Wasn’t this episode going to be about underwear shopping? Ah, there we go." And this is how we began. And then how we spent almost the entirety of the episode. Fitting Miyu for a bra. Which Akatsuki is just a little too good at. I could understand if it was just taking them off, but putting them back on? And her panties just kind of flipped from one kind to another during a screen cut. Despite everybody being in the changing room both before and after. Also, what exactly are these fitting rooms for that they have room enough for six people to all be comfortably standing with the requisite two feet of Japanese personal space around each and still have room to swing a magical staff?

Anyway, this may be the first time this ends up being the stupider of the two Thursday evening shows, but I’m not ready to call it just yet. That’s certainly some kind of achievement. The episode was completely pointless. The best I can say is that at least it’s obvious no effort was spent on it. Hell, they even just recycled footage from Queen’s Blade R as the embarrassing show that Akatsuki was watching in the middle of the night. Which is totally unrealistic because everybody knows QBR airs at like… 11:00am. I didn’t see a DVR either. My suspension of disbelief? Shattered.
