So much for hope for AT-X Night with Porn Directors.

Speaking of BABEL, yes I know about the new ZKC project. I’m playing it safe and assuming it’ll just be another OVA instead of a full series of them as teens fighting the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.

Impressions:

And a big step downward on this one too. Most of it was concerned with the introduction of other BABEL students, the class president/hobbit whose name I already can’t remember, Izumi the unabashed aggressive lesbian, and the rest of the elementally themed stooges. Akatsuki did his underwear stealing thing to the wind one and… uh… that’s about the sum and total impact that she had on the episode. And the end result of the episode was just Izumi and Pres becoming comrades in shame after Akatsuki used a magical bladder strike and/or ear bite to make them all piss themselves together after being locked in a storage closet by a panicky half-naked lesbian.

And… uh… that’s about it, I guess. There was the attempted murder followed by attempted sleep sexing followed by sleep groping at the start, but that’s not particularly notable or special. I guess at least the BABEL parts weren’t quite as boring as they were last week but I’d still rather see him sexually harassing combat maids and elves. At least they don’t look like big boxes with neon-colored wigs. Or at least show Izumi seduce her playthings instead of just cutting right from gym class starting to sex in the back room.
