Impressions:

That’s one way to stop the networks from putting in blinding light beams and opaque fog, just lay down a semi-translucent layer of it yourself. But for those of us with laptops without hinges where the damn things keel over constantly anyway… *ahem*. Anyway, yeah. Another not particularly interesting episode but at least they spent half of it in the bath instead of rambling aimlessly about future-past space political grain reserve shortages. Also, the entire Aoi family seems to have trouble staying dressed. While Toori is oscillating between completely naked and fully clothed, Kimi seems to just be removing more and more as the show goes on. Not that I’m complaining.

I guess the main focus was meant to more or less be Tenzou and Mary that mysterious scarred woman, but that was more or less them just flirting awkwardly and/or rubbing breasts on backs and fondling scars. Honda got her… uh… mini thingy too, with associated explanation and for some reason, insert song. Because apparently magical anteaters come with their own theme songs. Then it was off to the historically accurate montage England/Japan school festival slash treaty slash extended insert song before the ships/evil red fog drifted in and it looks like it’s finally time to start getting back to hitting things. Maybe.
