Can we stop pretending there’s a romantic triangle? Please?

Impressions:

As usual, Mikono deserves some kind of award for being completely and utterly useless. Zess is taking a close second place though since everyone seems to have more or less forgotten about her and/or doesn’t really care that she’s transforming into Mykage. It’s only when she begins molesting Mikono that they realize something’s going on, and even then, they still don’t know that it’s Zess in there. Why is she in the show again if even the characters don’t even remember she exists? To give Mykage something to pilot while pilotting something else? I should also be worried about how he planned to bring lipstick to match his new hair. Kagura and Amata, meanwhile, could be replaced by tape recorders spouting out the same stock phrases about who loves the sack of uselessness more. Nobody’s buying it. And this is something like the fourth or fifth time they had a shouting match about Sylvie vs I-don’t-Care-About-Destiny. Please stop it. And this is after his trippy vision at the start of  Kagura ruining Christmas by setting fire to his dream family. Uh, okay? His berserker rage over that lasted all of about three or four minutes before it was back to the usual shouting Mikono’s name over and over again and/or who was molested by which ancient pedophile angel.

The Mix/Andy scene was okay, I guess, but after hitting the pause button on that arc for literally a month and then having it resolve itself so predictibly, I can’t really bring myself to care. "It doesn’t matter if you’re a guy, that’s just more of you to love." An obvious resolution’s not necessarily a bad thing… unless you string it out and ignore it entirely for long periods of time, treating it like it’s completely unimportant and letting all emotional attachments to what’s going on fade and die, then drop it back in and expect anybody to give a rip. Especially when they then immediately pull them out of the action so… Yunoha… can go do nothing in their place. I’m sure she’ll be back to normal by the end of next week anyway. There’s too much nonsense magic floating around for it not to be. Especially with the planets about to collide/combine.
