Pfft. She does worse in the next ep previews every week.

Impressions:

Man, Tsumiki, that ribbon is just ugly as sin. Shouldn’t you have like… a cat ear ribbons or something? Not some ugly raggedy pink strands. It doesn’t even match your coloring. The first half was okay, but not great. As usual, the physical slapstick was when the show was at its best, although I did enjoy the couple segments of them teasing Sakaki Scrub Brush. I am a little surprised that the attention deficit disorder only got distracted into the obligatory floor/pool hockey for about a segment and a half. That and the weaponizing of the brushes should have had much more focus than the generic summer "it’s hot" bits.

The second half was pretty weak though. It had the main girls visiting Io’s room and smelling his clothes… and… that’s about it. Apparently not even the director thought that could fill up an entire segment so they skipped forward to after the test too where it… rained. Mayoi dominated most of it and she really only works well when the slapstick’s going full tilt. Scrub Brush getting speared was about the height of the jokes there. They could’ve/should’ve done so much more with the whole t-shirt thing too. Have Tsumiki hoard them or make a nest out of them. In some shows, that’s how characters say hellow to each other.
