So much for pacing.

Impressions:

Oh boy, an episode of little more than infodumping kicked off with the extra exciting treat of not one, not two, but three flashbacks in the first 5 minutes before getting to the cliffhanger from last week which wasn’t even real. My waning interest continues to decline. I guess at least it was a different kind of bad from just having characters I don’t like, but the characters didn’t actually improve here either, just got stuck on ice for a week to watch a Powerpoint presentation without the benefit of page turning effects. Kouga went absolutely nowhere nor did anything and other than beating up the Player in what was easily the worst of the three fights in this show so far, Jin just spent the rest of the episode listening to all the expositioning from people he can totally trust. Well, this is the kind of Jump I remembered and expected. It just took slightly longer to get here.
