Impressions:

Let’s just skip all the boring parts and pick things up where it gets amusing to write about. After giving everybody a Bad End the Big Bad Wolf uses a magical clown nose to turn a house evil. Candy tells Miyuki to give it a Happy Shower, but she can’t. The evil clown house then begins trying to lick her. This lets them figure out that if Miyuki screams she hates it enough, she can give the house the Happy Shower that Candy wants and saves the day.

And here I had always heard that it would cost you extra to have Japanese girls scream at you while they were Happy Shower-ing.

What do you want from me? It’s PreCure. It will always be PreCure. It is an unassailable fact of life. The protagonist here seems a little more hopped up on sugar and speedballs than I remember from the music one last year and can’t seem to go two sentences without saying "Happy," but I lack the extensive PreCure knowledge of PreCure things to be able to identify the slight changes from one iteration to the next besides the thematic change from music to fairy tales. The most I’ve viewed of it was back when I used to watch ZKC and PreCure aired just before it. All I ever saw was the monster of the week getting Pretty Tackled or Golden Rained or Philadelphia Twinkled on. Fond memories those.
