Kill Me Baby #04 — Combination Attack

January 26th, 2012

Perhaps the only one I’ve seen in months that wasn’t sexual in some way.

Impressions:

I may very well be finished here. Black Rock Shooter starts up on Thursdays next week, and while noitaminA and I do not share what could be called a relationship of mutual respect, the main thing that this show is making me do is appreciate even the poor episodes of Milky Holmes more after the fact. Heck, I think I had more fun with the Eiyuu Senki OP than this entire episode. It’s just so… cheerful. Anyway, it won’t take all that much to jump ship here, although if BRS’s episode is anything like the OVA, it’ll take half the show to get to the interesting world.

Agiri remains the only particularly bright spot, although her ninja buddy wasn’t too bad either. They’re only getting a fraction of the screentime though. Yasuna and Sonya just tire me. I basically napped through the entire first third about the summer heat and the ‘massage’ thing wasn’t much better either. The fake Yasunas were okay, I guess, particularly with their attempted combination attack, but that middle one’s voice hurt my brain. Not as much as Omigawa’s natural voice, but close.

So no coverage on Kill Me Baby, eh?

    • Aroduc says:

We’ll see. It was the last thing to pop up this week after a ton of weak episodes so… bleh. Next week with potentially 5 episodes of things doesn’t excite me.

  • MR.KLAC says:

can we give one more shot or something give mostly watching for laid high back ninja.

who really her own spin-off series.
