Niconico’s 2012 Winter Preview

My own will be up probably December 26th or 27th. There’s next to nothing going on that week. The only two shows beginning before January 5th already have either three seasons predating them or three years. A week and a half before and right after the Squid-thing ends is a perfect spot. I’m sure there will be a glut of promos at Comiket anyway (December 29-31). It’ll give me a chance to play Corona (which I’m hearing is astoundingly mediocre) and Dragon Girl Recettear Hanakoi anyway, not to mention whatever shows up at Comiket. And work on translating I guess.

    Oh God, is that Amagami I see in the preview screen? WHY? As hilarious as the knee pit kissing was, I’m still a bit miffed Rihoko got friendzoned. In her own arc.

      I’m probably assuming this is like a continuation of the last season. So maybe Rihoko might actually get her romance to blossom. Though I still wonder how this series is getting a second season considering most of the arcs end in couplings, with some of those with future epilogue events like Haruka’s or Tsukasa’s.

      I’m somewhat laughing at the fact that there are some series in here that look interesting though I can’t help but feel that there is more ‘mech’ involved series than I would have expected like Aquarion Evol and that other one.

    Niconico’s reviews always make the season more interesting than (then?) it actually turns out to be. Maybe every show this season should be edited down to a minute.
