The Color of Lovers #06 — Platonic Heterosexual Bathtime
November 8th, 2011
Japan, your culture confuses me.
Impressions:
This is an episode that raises a number of questions. How bad must Ange’s home life actually be if living as some random guy’s servant and trying to sneak into his bed is something she looks forward to? How the hell does that cat thing eat food of greater mass than it? How does fire only singe the tops and bottoms of posters, yet burns Uryuu’s hand badly enough for it to need bandages? In a time where people have cellphones, at a school for rich kids, and with most of the cast related to students or faculty, why do none of them have access to a scanner or copy machine? How exactly is Airi going to explain forcing Uryuu having a platonic bath with her? "He was wet, so I made him come to my house, get naked, and then I followed him in, sitting down in his lap, but it’s okay because I turned off the lights first?" Where exactly did that convenient beam of light come from in the middle of a rainstorm? How did Uryuu turn around in the bath so quickly in a sitting position? Does he not have legs? Does Miu have more than two expressions?
These questions and more will not be answered next week. Same Bat Time. Same Bat Channel.

Some questions are better left unanswered…
But, seriously, what is with that animal? Is it actually a cat?
