The Color of Lovers #04 — The Bearch is Open
October 25th, 2011
What the hell is a bearch?
Impressions:
It looks like Maken-ki may have an easy ride for ‘winning’ today. Remember that Futurama episode where there are sudden time skips all over the place and the characters then react without knowledge of intervening events? That was how a lot of this episode progressed, particularly when Airi was concerned. She invites Sakuno and Uryuu over to study, then after talking to them in her room, she suddenly goes "Hey! What are the rest of you doing here!?" And then again with her birthday cake. Scene cut to the entire table set, a birthday cake and everybody sitting in front of her, and then and only then does she realize "You knew it was my birthday… and brought me a cake?" So either the entire show is being bombarded by chronotons, or she is so incredibly stupid that it literally takes her mintues to process events that happen right in front of her. I choose to err on the side of amusement.
The rest, whatever. Miu has the worst and most-prone-to-smack-a-customer-in-the-head waitress outfit possible, Corticarte turns feral lesbian, and Airi reveals how she used to be loved by all the school‘s lesbians before she finally stops menstruating all over the place and begins to furiously ovulate instead. And then the preview for next week has skirts dropping, shots of thighs, and Ange’s heaving breasts. I see they’re bringing their A-game.
Preview:
Ange’s breasts.

Got to admit that this episode was rather disjointed, but still, your insinuations of Airi’s intentions are less than objective.
