Impressions:

Well, just like the first episode, the humor here isn’t quite hitting on all cylinders. Miyako trying to sneak into Yamato’s bed and giving a handy to a straw dummy was about the highlight of the jokes this week and it was in the opening segment totally unconnected to the rest of the episode. The general production remains pretty good, although the fighting this week was pretty bad and made up of almost all stills. Chasing the dog around was far better animated and well-made all around. Worth Yamato stumbling into changing room after changing room or getting beat up because the girls themselves ran out of their bath naked? Meh.

I do think that the massive cast is working a little bit against them now though. I’m perfectly fine without having every single character and their life story spelled out, but with the persistent cast checking in over two dozen the show really should be at least trying to focus a little more on the core cast instead of montages of other characters for the sake of having every single cast member involved in every episode, particularly when their only contribution is to shriek. At least they’re not censoring the naughty bits with supernovas covering the screen. The giant hexagons aren’t much better, but after months of awful mist and light glare, I consider old-fashioned censoring like this to be a vast improvement.

    This is original anime episode, and it’s suck!!!!

    I think the anime will have its own storyline, not from the VN, and again…it’s suck

    LOL at the guy above me you sir are an idiot or are you just trying to troll or what? did you even play the VN? half of the story was from the game and half of it made up.

    I played the VN, finished every routes (even true route, I haven’t played any side routes yet though). Can you tell me which half is from the VN? Because I can not remember any of it. The dog? no…The Itagaki sisters? yeah true they are from VN…but that’s not how they appear in the VN! and sir they did not sell weapons in the VN!!!

    Well it looks like I’m the idiot lol but seriously I hate comments like yours (the first one) just because it has a different storyline it automaticly sucks? really? just look at the anime as some sort of fan service for the people who like the game and you will enjoy the anime too.

    Well if I have offended you then I am sorry. But I just stated my opinion about this episode. Surelly different people have different taste, right.

    I did not say anime have different storyline means it automaticly sucks (well maybe I did, but that’s not what I mean :D). I really enjoy the first eps (well that’s one is from VN), but I just cannot like the second eps. The dog chasing scene is kinda silly, can you imagine Momoyo can not catch a dog? Some of the fanservice scenes are not very well done I think, I found the characters’ personalities are a bit weak compare to the VN, maybe it’s just me.

    I really really love the VN, maybe because of that I have extremely high hope for the anime. More than anything, I am afraid that people who watch the anime and will have wrong opinion about the game. Hopefully not. Of course I will continue to watch this anime, hope it will get better.

    one question to you you said you played the true route are those little scenes about Yamato and his flashbacks about his father in the game too? well I think it’s his father.

    Those scenes are definitely in the game (his face didn’t appear in the game though). If I remember correctly the flashbacks about his father appear in Miyako’s route. I think the anime will try to combine many routes into one, hopefully it will not turn into a train wreck.

    TT, but the episode did suck. So I guess while his basis for it sucking sucks, you defending it doesn’t help the fact that it actually sucks as a standalone episode.

    Like I said I’m watching it for the fan service and I have no high expectations on the anime.. you guys are just expecting too much and if you look at the VN/game I know why.. the only thing I want from this anime is a good Momoyo ending and hopefully not a harem one.

    I like how they’re doing a stand alone anime version, it seems like they are continuing from after the big battle in the first episode, i don’t we’ll be seeing much of VN scenes at all.

    I haven’t watched this episode yet so I cannot speak to the quality of the anime-original material, but after the first episode I checked out the VN (mostly just the YUkie route so far since she is my favorite) and found that the plot itself was only so-so, but the characters were great and diverse (though I’m still not a huge fan of Momoyo). So I have no problem with original material so long as they use the characters appropriately. That being said, I’m looking forward to what they come up with.
