Well… getting closer, I guess.

Impressions:

You know, Silver Link… if you’re going to get Himeji drunk off liquor candies and then have her play strip BS with the boys, I expect much better than just the usual punchline of trying to put them all into dresses. This is the fourth episode of this season and you’ve already leaned on that joke more than enough. At this point, putting the females in dresses would be new and interesting for this show. Didn’t I say that last week too? Oh well. They could have at least done something with the summone beasts and the game, given that it’s the show’s entire gimmick, but… apparently not.

The second half at least finally brought the summons back, although they were in regressed, non-combat forms to blurt out various things about their masters while ‘deftly’ avoiding ever having to answer about who liked who. Kitehead had probably the only one that was actually kind of cute, begging for hugs while Minami was being her usual pissy self. Please, please, please, please, please, please, please can we get back to the battling and doing something now? Get your initial skirmish out of the way here, then go angst over losing or whatever to set up for the big finale. Enough screwing around already.
