Impressions:

Ah, yes. Beat them up, strip them naked, and turn them gay(er). The Nanoha Ending: Type α. Somehow, I’m not all that surprised. It did take them awhile to get there though, and the entire first 3/4ths of the episode continued in that same laughable manner as this show always has whenever it tried to pretend like it was serious. Like trying to sell Ieyasu as extra evil because now she’s attacking Hanzous… instead of just sending them into traps, berating them, and stepping on them. Maybe she crossed the line from casual sadism to ignoring their safe word. And she grows tattoos for a few minutes. A real sign of evil if ever there was one.

Note though that despite being "under the armor’s evil influence" and/or the armor being incomplete, her personality never actually changed, and she didn’t really seem to care enough about them to attack, even when the entire team was going through their super awesome love love combination finisher sequence. Actually, come to think of it, she just shot a couple beams out of the heavens in Yoshimoto’s general direction and that was that. At least the super awesome love love combination finisher wasn’t terrible, especially for this show. Still basically no choreography and the ‘big bad’ just standing there and getting hit, but hey, it could have had more speedlines or worse music. Yeah… expectations were not exactly high. At least they won with swords and the power of homosexuality instead of a morality speech from Hideyoshi and a hug.
